Nevada Jobs Board Pay Transparency Policy

Pay Transparency Policy

Last updated October 25, 2026

Candidates deserve to know what a job pays and how they will be engaged before they apply. Every listing on this board must meet the rules below.

Required on every listing

Every job must show a minimum and maximum pay amount and whether that amount is hourly, monthly or yearly. “DOE”, “competitive pay”, “negotiable” and similar phrases do not satisfy this rule.

Every job must be labeled onsite, remote or hybrid. Every job must state whether the worker is a W-2 employee or a 1099 independent contractor.

Commission jobs are allowed

Commission-only and base-plus-commission roles are welcome. The listing must still show a realistic on-target earnings range. The description must state the commission rate — for example “10% of job revenue” or “$500 per sale” — and how often commission is paid, such as weekly, monthly or per closing.

“Unlimited earning potential” and guaranteed-income claims are not a substitute for a rate and a payment schedule.

How we enforce it

A policy rule check runs before a listing can be approved. New listings and every edited listing are queued for an AI review that looks for missing pay information, missing classification, vague commission terms, and misleading or scam-like claims. The automated review runs twice each day.

A human admin reviews any listing the rules or AI flag. We may reject, pause or remove a listing that does not comply. Repeated violations can suspend an employer account.

Report a listing

Every job page has a “Report this job” form. Tell us which rule is missing and what you saw. Reports are reviewed by the board team, and your email is optional and never shared with the employer.
